What Mind the Fare is
Mind the Fare is an information service. It looks up publicly available fares for a flight you tell us about, records what it finds, and notifies you when a comparable fare falls below the price you told us you paid.
Mind the Fare is not a travel agency, not a ticket seller, and not an agent acting on your behalf. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Delta Air Lines or any other airline. Airline names and flight numbers are used solely to identify the flight you asked us to monitor.
What Mind the Fare does not do
- It does not change, cancel, rebook, or otherwise modify your reservation.
- It does not contact any airline on your behalf.
- It does not purchase tickets.
- It does not represent you in any claim, dispute, or request for a refund or credit.
- It does not guarantee that any price it reports remains available.
No guarantee of savings, credits, or refunds
A “potential savings” figure shown by Mind the Fare is the arithmetic difference between the price you entered and a comparable public fare we observed at a point in time. It is an estimate for your information only.
Mind the Fare does not guarantee that you are entitled to any refund, eCredit, voucher, or fare adjustment. Eligibility depends on the fare rules of your specific ticket and the airline’s policies at the time you ask, neither of which Mind the Fare can access or verify. Any decision about your ticket is between you and the airline.
Accuracy and availability
Fare data comes from third-party sources. Those sources can be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and airlines routinely make inventory visible through some channels and not others. Mind the Fare may therefore miss a genuine price drop, or report a fare that is no longer purchasable.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that monitoring will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate flight details and an accurate purchase price. A wrong price produces a wrong savings estimate.
- Only monitor flights that are yours, or that you have permission to monitor.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Verify any fare with the airline before acting on it. What we show is a record of an observation, not a live quote.
- Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits on the service.
Accounts and plans
The Free plan monitors one flight with daily checks. The Pro plan monitors an unlimited number of flights with hourly checks, billed monthly through Stripe.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. If a subscription lapses, flights beyond the Free limit stop being checked but are not deleted, and your price history remains visible.
We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service or uses it unlawfully.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mind the Fare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost savings, missed fare drops, denied credits, or costs arising from action or inaction based on information provided by the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the application before they take effect. Continuing to use Mind the Fare after that point means you accept the updated terms.
